Preventative Care - App Experience Design
Problem: Preventive care features in the app were added by various client requests at different times. Which created fragmented user experience and features were hard to use/find.
Solution: Revision preventive care features that are easy to use & find, drive positive user behaviour change, and increase engagement towards healthy activities and outcome. 
‍Opportunity: When we looked at the features like health goals, risk assessments and biometrics tests holistically, there was a clear opportunity to weave them into larger story Castlight was telling. Stay healthy! 

Objectives:
- Proactively detect where members are in their health journey.
- Identify design opportunities to integrate preventive care features to the larger whole.
- Nudge users to towards behaviour change, one step at a time. 
- Revision user journeys from JTBD and design user-centric features. 

Contributions: 
Collaborated with research & analytics to understand each feature and their existing metrics
Defined framework to combine features to build cohesive experience within the product
Led an idea through execution by inspiring teams, strategizing, planning, managing, designing and measuring.
Partnered with Designers, PMs, Content, Clinical, Legal and Engineering teams to update overall user experience.
Next Steps: Partner with PM, data analytics, and content team to update funnels to measure integrated experience.

Journey towards achieving health goals:
1. User sets the health goals at the time of on-boarding.
2. User then takes in-app health assessment to answer more about their goals and earn rewards.
3. If user is high-risk, user gets notified to go for biometrics lab tests for free and earn rewards. If user is healthy, user gets tips and recommendations to work on their goals and stay healthy! 
4. Once the results are available, user is notified to visit PCP or contact Care Guides service which helps user to start the health journey with the right foot forward.​​​​​​​
Preventive features are designed holistically to work in conjunction as well as independently.

“I like the green and yellow colors that make it easy to determine where my issues might be. Everything was well defined and I knew where to go for additional info.”
“Overall, I loved the site. I do wish that I had it available to me through my healthcare provider. This app is the "tell me more" of tests results that we all need to know.”
“I really like the design--the simple colors and easy to identify graphs/graphics. I liked how I could see at a glance where my results were without getting into details at first.  I wish my current health portal looked this inviting!”
